The Learning Ninjas was started with the goal of matching passionate tutors who have a heart for encouraging and inspiring students to work through their challenges and thrive. Our tutors are either teachers, or college students who are pursuing degrees in education or psychology. Each tutor is carefully screened not just for their ability to teacher, but also to ensure their enthusiasm for helping each student find joy and a sense of confidence in themselves.
Currently we have teachers available to teach:
Academic Coaching (Elementary-Adult)
Any Elementary School subject
SAT Test Prep
ACT Test Prep
AP World History
AP European History
Our goal at The Learning Ninjasis to Knock out one academic challenge at a time. For some students, this is easy and all that they may need is some simple tutoring help.
For others who may be learning differently due to ADHD, or executive functioning challenges, this may take special attention to identify what works the best. We treat each student as his or her own unique person. We have 3 goals when we work with each student:
The first step in tutoring is always a free one-on-one session. This allows us to assess the student's own unique needs and circumstances. We then will pair the child with an appropriate tutor or if we do not feel that we have an appropriate tutor for the needs fo the particular child we will refer them to a service that we believe will better help the student succeed.
Lessons generally take place either at a client's home or a local library depending on location and comfort level
Every student has unique needs for support. Tell us more about what you are hoping a tutor can do for you, and we will start on a plan to help you get what you need.
